Develop, edit, update, and maintain a variety of technical documentation, both hard-copy and online. Excellent command of grammar and spelling. Able to write for different audiences, from engineers and developers to end-users.

API Reference (Online Help)

This help file is an online conversion of the API Reference Guide. It is part of a documentation suite developed for an IRC-based enterprise chat application and complements the Developer's Guide. The intended audience is primarily software developers familiar with Delphi or Visual Basic 6 and COM add-in development.

The API Reference online help provides online, searchable definitions of the classes, methods, and properties exposed in the software developer's kit, used to create structured input-output panels (SIOPs). It is a simple online help file and contains few, if any, hyperlinks within the text. The power of the help file is that it has a table of contents, an index, and is searchable, which makes it very easy to find the functions you want. It was written in FrameMaker and then output to Microsoft HTML Help (CHM) via WebWorks Publisher, for inclusion on the application CD.
