Technical Writing

Develop, edit, update, and maintain a variety of technical documentation, both hard-copy and online. Excellent command of grammar and spelling. Able to write for different audiences, from engineers and developers to end-users.

Installation Guide

This Installation Guide is part of a documentation suite developed for an IRC-based enterprise chat application. The intended audience is an IT system administrator, so it is more technical than a user guide for a typical end-user.

The Installation Guide explains the system requirements, database configuration, and software installation. It also provides information for migrating data adn settings from previous versions. The guide was written in FrameMaker and then output to PDF via Acrobat Distiller, for inclusion on the application CD.
