This is a help file created to support users on the job after training. This sample is an excerpt from the training guide and it also links to a sample online demo for a procedure documented in the help.

The help file format allows users to easily search for content and to display step-by-step procedures on their screens while working. This sample is an excerpt from the Oracle R12 Order Management participant guide, which was several hundred pages long. The original help file also linked to dozens of demonstrations and simulations stored on the client's intranet. This sample links to a single demonstration.

The help file was created with Adobe RoboHelp from a training document written in Word. The online demonstration in this sample was created using Articulate Storyline. To emulate how the original help file linked to the external demonstrations, the sample demonstration hosted on my server.

Note: A Microsoft security update for Windows disabled help files downloaded over networks and the Internet, but there is an easy fix. Once you download and unzip the file, please follow the steps below ensure it is unblocked.

1. Right-click the help file icon and select Properties from the pop-up menu.
   The Properties dialog displays.
2. On the General tab, you may see an Unblock button. If you don't see an Unblock button then Windows is not blocking the help file and you can close the Properties dialog and disregard the rest of these steps. Otherwise, continue with the next step.
   
3. Click Unblock.
   The Security warning and the Unblock button turn gray.
4. Click OK.
